The technology
In the early 1970s an offshore well was leaking through the concrete casing under backpressure. Surface methods were not stopping it. Bill Ward was asked to help. His treatment was pumped in with the concrete so the pore structure closed as the mix set. That internal approach has been refined for more than four decades and is what today’s products are built on.
